Senator Halford moved and asked unanimous consent that the                     
resolution be approved.  Senator Adams objected, then withdrew his             
objection.  There being no further objections, the resolution was              
before the Senate and was read a second time.                                  
                                                                               
The question being: "Shall SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION                        
NO. 12 Authorizing a recess by the Senate and the House of                     
Representatives for a period of more than three days, pass the
